MODULE TITLE: “Interaction of environment and human health: Experience of the European Union”

TIMEFRAME: 01.09.2016 – 31.08.2019

OBECTIVES:

  • study the best European practices of interaction of environment and human health;
  • conduct comparative analysis of health protection initiatives in the conditions of environmental pollution in EU and Russia;
  • deliver a master course "Interaction of environment and human health: Experience of the EU" for studying the practices applied in the EU in the field of the environment and public health;
  • prepare an article "EU research on interaction of environment and public health"
  • prepare the expert recommendations on health preservation for population living in the conditions of technogenic pollution of the environment based on EU experience;
  • foster the dialogue between academic world and business community;
  • raise the awareness of the successful EU practices in the field of environment and public health among health, ecology and environmental experts.

The project is targeted on the wide academic and business community: full-time master students majoring in Ecology, Environmental Management and Biology, health, ecology and environmental experts and high school students, regional and municipal environmental and health care authorities of Russia.

Graduate of Tyumen State University, with a degree in biology. Candidate of Biological Sciences (Ph.D.), Associate Professor for Human and Animal Anatomy and Physiology, Assistant Professor at the Department of Ecology of Nizhnevartovsk State University. Author and co-author of more than 60 scientific works, including a monograph and an educational book. Lecturer and researcher in the fields of human ecology, human adaptation, correlation between the state of environment and public health. Participant of regional and international conferences and workshops on issues of environment and public health. Academic advisor of students’ research activities on Human and Animal Anatomy and Physiology. Regularly takes advanced courses and joins training workshops on Erasmus+ (Capacity building, Credit Mobility and Jean Monnet), Project Support, Cooperation, Academic Mobility in Education, Training, Sport and Youth Policy.

Author and coauthor of 57 scientific works. Lecturer and researcher in the fields of human ecology and human biology. Participant of regional and international conferences and workshops on issues of environment and public health. Head of the project team  in the ongoing TEMPUS IV project E3M - "Evaluation of Quality of Cooperation in Education Ecosystem as a Mechanism for Building Professional Competencies". Responsible for accreditation activities in the area of study programmes and study fields. Has an overall responsibility for managing NVSU academic process, innovative initiatives, international policy. Dedicated to support the goals for NVSU sustainable development. Involved in strategic planning in all academic and international aspects.
