The Centre for International Education and Tourism is based in the Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education «Nizhnevartovsk State University»and is a structural department of the University.

The centre offers a wide range of services, from foreign language teaching and written translations, to advice and practical assistance with applications to foreign educational institutions and professional internships. Specialists of the Centre are also ready help with visa-related questions, and can arrange overseas travel and accommodation.

The Centre for International Education and Tourism offers a wide range of educational programmes, in collaboration with international partner institutions. The Centre strives to meet learner requirements and guarantee a high quality of language training. It offers programmes for all language levels to suit the needs of the learner, from beginner to intermediate to advanced. In addition to the standard programmes, it offers courses in Business English and English for special purposes, as well as courses tailored to those wishing to study abroad.

One of the many advantages of the programmes is their learner-centred approach. Learners may choose to study in small or medium sized groups, or may opt to receive private one-to-one tuition with one of the teachers. Sessions can be arranged for the mornings, afternoons or evening, during the working week or at the weekend, to suit the preference of the learner.

All the classes are lead by professional teachers who are also native-speaking of the languages which they teach and who are able to provide high levels of knowledge and practical communication experience. All the teachers have broad experience of university teaching and can apply modern and effective methods to the curricula available.

The Centre works closely with leading foreign institutions, such as Kingston University of London (UK), the University of Barcelona (Spain), Malta University, Beijing University of Language and Culture (China), JAMK University of Applied Sciences (Finland), and many others.
