MAIN OBJECTIVE:

Promote discussion and reflection on the European integration via the historical analysis, focused on identification of European integration history specific features with the aim of elaboration and perfection of teaching materials.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

  • prepare teaching materials "EU integration: experience, achievements and modern challenges";
  • implement a training course for university students on "EU integration: experience, achievements and modern challenges";
  • prepare and publish monograph "European Integration: achievements and challenges";
  • prepare and publish handbook "EU countries";
  • organize online webinars with EU experts.

The project is targeted on the academic world, teachers, young researchers, students, regional authorities and the general public (local schools, vocational education institutions, educational centres).

PhD thesis "New Labour" Social Program in Great Britain: Preparation, Priorities, Implementation (1994 - 2001)”, 2005, Moscow State Pedagogical University.

More than 90 scientific publications on the theory and practice of welfare state formation in the UK and Europe, European models of social policy. Speaker at international and all-Russian scientific conferences and competitions on Western Europe Modern History (for example, "Fourth German - Russian Week of the Young Researcher" Global History organized by DAAD, DWIH).

During 2009 - 2016 years teaching the following courses: “Social Policy Models in Europe and the USA”, “Actual Problems of European and American Contemporary History”, “European History in Modern Times" at Nizhnevartovsk State University.

Mentoring students’ research activities devoted to the European history in contemporary period, the problems of European Integration in different periods.

During 2016-2019 coordinated and implemented the Jean Monnet Module “The EU Social Policy” (574865-EPP-1-2016-1-RUEPPJMO-MODULE, period of realization 2016-2019).

PhD thesis “Bismarck’s Social Reformism: Dialectics of Traditionalism and Innovation”, 25 publications of papers on the theme of dissertation, publication of chapter «Completion of Unification of Germany and Social Question» in textbook «Methodology and Debatable Problems of Modern and Contemporary History of Foreign Countries» (Nizhnevartovsk State University, 2011). Awarded by Third Degree Diploma of Regional Competition «The Best Scientific-Research Work on Natural, Technical Sciences and the Humanities for Students of Higher Educational establishments in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Area–Yugra» (2012).
