On April 24-28, 2017, Nadezhda Nemchinova, Head of International office, Higher Education Reform Expert within the framework of the Erasmus+ program,  took part in the International staff week "Erasmus+ outside Europe (ICM)" organized by the University of Barcelona.

Participants of the International staff week had an opportunity to learn about the experience and best practices of implementing KA107 at partner countries (Jordan, Egypt, Palestine, Syria, Morocco, China, Bosnia Herzegovina, Canada) and program countries (Spain, Greece). The workshops included active discussions of issues related to organizing and developing academic mobility, improving the internationalization level of higher education institutions, organizing strategic partnerships in the framework of bilateral agreements, student support practices, recognition issues, university organizational structures for managing internationalization and academic mobility, Bologna Process, new cooperation opportunities within Erasmus+ programme, etc.

During the International Staff week, the video conference with the representatives of EACEA was arranged enabling the participants to get more information about the possibilities of cooperation within KA2: Capacity Building in Higher Education.

As a follow-up event it is planned to arrange a regional seminar ERASMUS+ KA- 107 MOBILITY OF INDIVIDUALS: current state, major challenges and perspectives for bilateral cooperation" at the Nizhnevartovsk State University.
