MODULE TITLE: "Developing Green Skills for Entrepreneurship and Business Based on the EU Experience"

MAIN OBJECTIVES:
- to investigate current European policies in regard to sustainable development of the countries and implications that they have for training and education policies;
- to introduce the course “Green skills for Entrepreneurship and Business Based on the EU Experience” into the curriculum of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Nizhnevartovsk State University, thus diversifying the EU-related studies and internationalizing perspectives on management in the context of European integration;
- to develop innovative approaches and methods of managing eco-enterprises for Russian market with the consideration of European experience;
- to create learning space with the use of the leading forms and methods of teaching and training and provide access to European knowledge and accumulated experience of successful companies.
EXPECTED RESULTS:
- boosted information and research activities related to the issues of European integration (debates, workshops, a conference);
- raised awareness of the European integration process and EU experience in green policy and development green skills of future managers;
- introduced innovative teaching techniques, including interactive lectures, facilitation and gamification;
- increased student competitiveness and mobility opportunities;
- improved student occupational and eco-entrepreneurship’s skills and knowledge related to the EU studies;
- joining the integrated academic network with a plan of joint research and multifaceted cooperation in the field of European education integration.

Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department for Commerce and Management. 2005-2011 - research in the field of eco marketing based on the European experience 2008 – internship in Germany within DAAD funded program “Green marketing”. Research on corporate social responsibility of foreign companies. 2011 – successfully defended Doctor’s thesis on “Theory and methodology of establishment of organic market based on holistic marketing”. 2016 - Participated in the development of “Lean Region” concept. Teaching courses in Eco Marketing (2011-2013), Corporate Social Responsibility (2013-2015), International Marketing (2004-2015). Doctor of Economics, Head of the Department for Commerce and Management Teaching experience is 22 years. Taught courses in Strategic Management, Business Planning, Human Resource Management. Author and co-author of more than 110 scientific papers published in Russian and international journals, including 3 monographic studies. 2015 – successfully defended Doctor’s thesis “Production control in agriculture”. 2016 - Participated in the development of “Lean Region” concept. Research management: strategic management; ISO 9000 as a tool to bring organizational change; technologies; business processes; stimulating and engaging staff.
