Recognising success of participants of Jean Monnet Module

One of the main objectives of Jean Monnet activities is to foster interest to a particular field among young researchers. All Jean Monnet Modules that are being implemented in Nizhnevartovsk State University address this objective in different ways. Jean Monnet Module “Developing Green Skills for Entrepreneurship and Business Based on the EU Experience” has produced first students research paper on the topic of the module. Third year student of the Faculty if Economics and Management, Kseniya Bondarenko under academic supervision of module coordinator, Prof. Oksana Kozlova, is the author of the paper, where she reviews current trends in global development of green economy from the perspective of consumers’ behavior.

The study resulted in a research paper titled “New trends influencing “green” consumers behavior”. The paper was awarded first place in the XII International Competition “Best Student Paper 2017” in section “Economics”.

The paper studies development trends of ecological goods and trends that determine its prospective growth. Among the key factors are influence of technological processes on consumer behavior, “zero innovations” and “smart” technologies. These processes significantly change consumer behavior on the market of ecological goods.
