Demonstrated expertise of Jean Monnet Module coordinators

On 31st October, 2017, coordinator of Jean Monnet Module  "Developing «green skills» for Entrepreneurship and Business based on the EU experience" Oksana Kozlova, Doctor of Economics, professor of the Department for Commerce and Management was invited to share her expertise in a discussion “Business volunteering: a fad or social responsibility of all businesses”. The event took place in Omsk. It was attended by various stakeholders – representatives of executive authorities of Omsk Region, managers and specialists from leading organizations of Omsk Region and university professors.

The topics discussed during the event were closely connected to the Module research initiatives: development of ecological and social business initiatives, capacities of socially responsible businesses in solving urban planning issues and boosting regional economy.


The event proved yet another time that the topics covered in the Module activities are pressing issues in modern business environment. It was pointed out that modern businesses require young generation to be aware of current trends in social and economic responsibility.
