Department of Commerce and Management finished Jean Monnet course

Faculty of Economics and Management concluded the first year of the training course withing Jean Monnet Module "Developing Green Skills for Entrepreneurship and Business Based on the EU Experience"

Nowadays entrepreneurship is one of the main components of the modern market economy, without which a country's economy can not develop. There is a growing interest in teaching entrepreneurship, and environmental entrepreneurship in particular. To support this claim, the students students studying Management at NVSU developed and presented their business plans for creating an environmental business.The course enabled students to design business plans and evaluate and assess economic and social efficiency of the business as a whole.

                            

The students worked in the following directions: organization of the eco-settlement "Chistoe" and the ecological garden "Botanik"; creation of an interior design studio "Eco-style" and an eco-beauty salon; production of environmentally friendly dairy products, edible utensils and other useful ideas.

Previous studies have shown that 18.6% of students at the Faculty of Economics and Management plan to become entrepreneurs after graduation, and 64.8% see themselves as highly qualified specialists in the future and are ready to apply their knowledge in the field of management, marketing and economics in practice.
