MAIN OBJECTIVE: promote the study of the EU experience in applying harmonized European standards and ensuring unified requirements to products in the international commodity exchange.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
- Raise awareness of the importance of standardization for the Russian, European and international economy;
- Study EU experience in developing the internal product market based on the modernized national standards;
- Develop a quality management system based on harmonized standards;
- Develop training and methodological aids and introduce new teaching forms, techniques and schemes based on the advanced new educational technologies and new approaches to increase the attractiveness of issues related to standardization in the EU.
TARGET GROUPS: direct users of the module (students, teachers), university management, staff and student not directly involved in the projects; Russian and international partner-institutions; federal and regional authorities; other stakeholders and general public.
EXPECTED RESULTS:
- Boosted information and research activities related to the issues of European integration (debates, workshops, conferences, seminars, round tables, summer schools)
- Using EU experience in standardization for developing product quality control systems;
- Joining the integrated academic network with a plan of joint research and multifaceted cooperation in the field of European education integration.

Author and co-author of more than 110 scientific papers published in Russian and international journals, including 5 monographic studies. Teaches the courses of Standardization and Certification, International Marketing (2004-2015). Researcher of the issues related to the impact of national certification system on national competitiveness, EU experience and practices in certification of organic food products (2008-2010). Participant of regional and international conferences and workshops, including European CE certification (2013). |

Graduate of Omsk Agricultural Institute, with a degree in Agricultural economics. Candidate of Agricultural Sciences (Ph.D.), Associate Professor, Head of Department of Commerce and Management, Nizhnevartovsk State University. Author and co-author of more than 100 scientific papers published in Russian and international journals, including 3 monographs and 4 reference books. Teaches the courses of Quality Management, Personnel Management, Standardization and Certification. Researcher in the fields of national and harmonized standards in business enterprises, best national standards used in European countries, strategic management, ISO 9000 as a tool for organizational changes; technologies and business processes; stimulation and employee involvement. Took advanced courses and joined training workshops on Education quality management; Management in education; Modernization of higher education programmes and efficiency of educational activities; Improving professional competences in teaching management courses. |
