Within the VIII Eurasia Economic Youth Forum held in Yekaterinburg, April 19^th, Oksana Kozlova, Professor of the Department for Commerce and Management, gave an open lecture dedicated to the EU Experience of Proprietary Standards. This year the Forum welcomed over 2 000 participants, 47 honorary guests and 299 experts.

This lecture was conducted within the framework of Jean Monnet Module “Standardization in Product Quality Management: EU Experience and Cooperation Prospects”, � 574925-EPP-1-2016-1-RU-EPPJMO-MODULE. It included the results of the first year of work within the module.

It is important to mention that students are eager to learn about the role of proprietary standards in the development of world trade and EU perspectives. Students demonstrated good background knowledge and proposed questions that helped to look at the issue at hand from different perspectives. This experience of national dissemination allowed the Module Coordinators to receive wider feedback on some of the course topics and consider it in planning for the rest of the Module implementation.
