NVSU students received Erasmus + scholarship
Anastasia Turabova and Alina Shakirova, NVSU 3rd year students of the Faculty of Humanities, have successfully passed the competitive selection procedure to study the course "Crossing Borders: Cultural Diversity in Early Years Education" at the University College of South Denmark- UCSYD from August to December 2017. In the context of cooperation between NVSU and UCSYD, the universities submitted a joint application for funding of academic mobility within the European Commission Erasmus + (Key action 1: Credit mobility). Following the competition, the University College of South Denmark received a quota for 2 Russian students to study at UCSYD with a financial support of European Commission program Erasmus+.

Round table for Fulbright alumni was held in Tomsk
Jul 29, 2017 Siberian State Medical University (Tomsk) held a roundtable event for alumni of different Fulbright programs for Russian citizens. Yana Kraychinskaya, staff member of International Office at NVSU, participated in the round table as an alumna of Fulbright Graduate Student Program.

Jean Monnet Activities selection results have been announced
European Commission continues to announce the results of application campaign within Erasmus+ program. One of the popular actions is Jean Monnet Activities. Jean Monnet program is aimed at stimulating teaching, research and reflection in the field of European integration studies at the level of higher education institutions within and outside the European Community.

First results of exchange program with University of Barcelona within Erasmus+ Program
Danil Kharitonov, 3rd year student of the Department for Linguistics and Translation, Faculty of Humanities, has successfully completed his studies at University of Barcelona (Spain) within Erasmus+ Program.

NVSU representatives have taken part in EU Study Weeks
Victoria Lazareva, academic mobility coordinator of NVSU International office and Elena Fomenko, student of Faculty of Humanities took part in the summer seminar within European Union Study Weeks. The seminar was held on June 23-27, 2017 in Tyumen. This event targeted young people interested in the topic of Europe – Russia relationships and European processes. High level of proficiency in English was a mandatory requirement for participation.

New selection results of the Erasmus + Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals
Education Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency announced first results of 2017 selection round of the Erasmus+ Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals. Nizhnevartovsk State University received funding for implementing mobility activities of students, teachers and staff with University College of South Denmark (Denmark) and JAMK University of Applied Sciences (Finland).

International Workshop on
On July 4-7, Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra (Coimbra, Portugal) hosted a Workshop on "The EU spin-off best practices" within the project Erasmus+ project "UNISON University-enterprise cooperation via spin-off companies network". The workshop was designed to introduce project partners from Russia , China and Georgia to the EU perspectives on university spin-offs, promotion of technology transfer and R&D commercialization.

NVSU Student won YEAR in the United States
Carolina Drobinina, 2nd year student of the Faculty of Humanities studying Linguistics took part and won The Year of Exhange in America for Russians program.

Erasmus+ Students and Alumni Association meeting was held in NVSU
On June 9. 2017 the first working meeting of Erasmus+ Alumni Association of NVSU dedicated to the establishment of the Association. The meeting was attended by the International Office staff members and students who have taken part in university exchange programs and studied in partner universities and were funded by Erasmus+ program.

NVSU student has returned from JAMK University of Applied Sciencess
Timur Novikov, 3rd year student of Faculty of Economics and Management, has successfully completed his studies at JAMK University of Applied Sciences in Jyväskylä. Timur spent spring semester from February to June 2017 there.
