Department for Commerce and Management Held Seminar on Research within European Grants

September, 20 Faculty of Economics and Management held a seminar “Defining research direction using European experience”. Key issues discussed during the seminar included participation of the Department professors in European grant programs:

• Jean Monnet Module “Developing «green skills» for Entrepreneurship and Business based on the EU experience”, 587650-EPP-1-2017-1-RU-EPPJMO-MODULE (Academic Coordinator – Oksana Kozlova, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department for Commerce and Management);
• Jean Monnet Module “Standardization in Product Quality Management: EU Experience and Cooperation Prospects”, 574925-EPP-1-2016-1-RU-EPPJMO-MODULE (Academic Coordinator – Inna Volkova, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department for Commerce and Management);
• Project UNISON “University-enterprise cooperation via spin-off companies network” implemented within Key Action 2: Cooperation for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices/ Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education.

The seminar allowed its participants to discuss research themes in the field of product quality control and management using European experience (Inna Volkova); research in the field of green skills development in entrepreneurship using EU experience (Oksana Kozlova). The seminar helped its participants to determine the direction of future research, monographs and publications for students and academic staff.

Additionally, Oksana Kozlova shared her experience of study visit to Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra (Portugal). The main goal of this visit was to examine practices of spin-off companies in EU countries. This visit allowed to complete SWOT analysis of academic entrepreneurship in Nizhnevartovsk State University.
