University of Tyumen has held the Research School for Russian teams of the Project "International scientific integration of early career researchers" (ISInCAR).
Project teams went on excursions around Tyumen, UTMN buildings, Historical Park "Russia - My History" and took part in All-Russian Geographical Dictation organized by Russian Geographical Society. Students visited Biological Station of UTMN "Lake Kuchak", where the first carbon polygon was opened in August 2021. Within the School students attended the following workshops:
- "Challenges in Geographic Information Systems", Ildar Idrisov, Head of the Department for Cartography and Geographic Information Systems, University of Tyumen;
- "International Citation Databases "Web of Science", "Scopus"", Vitaly Khoroshavin, Director of the Institute of Earth Sciences, University of Tyumen.





At the end of the Research school, Russian university project teams (Nizhnevartovsk State University, Yugra State University, University of Tyumen) went to the field campus of University of Tyumen "Lukashino", where they listened to reports of Nobel Peace Prize winner Professor Terry Callaghan and Russian experts in the field of climate change.
19 November All-Russian forum "Yugra International 2024" was held at Nizhnevartovsk State University. The event brought together 100 students, including 70 international students who are currently studying at Russian universities. |
