NVSU launches a portal of the spin-off companies network

On September 18-20, the final conference to sum up the Erasmus+ UNISON project "University-enterprise cooperation via spin-off companies network " was held in Yantai (China). The conference was joined by the representatives of 13 partner universities. During the event, NVSU presented a portal of the spin-off companies network.

The portal of the spin-off companies network http://www.unison.nvsu.ru/  is the international network of spin-off companies, universities and other organizations involved in organizing issues within academic innovation. The project will be the first network of its kind. It will combine the spin-off companies created in partner universities from the EU, Russia, Georgia and China. The virtual network will allow universities and companies to establish strong national and international relations in the field of science, business and education.  The portal will become a platform allowing stakeholders located in different countries to work on the development, production and launch of innovative products in international markets.

The mission of the portal is to form a communication space aimed at establishing strong national and international relations in the field of science, business and education.

The goal of the portal is to bring together academic spin-off companies located in different countries, which will allow interaction to develop, launch and promote research and innovative products in international markets.

The objectives of the portal are as follows:

1.  Disseminating the European experience in intra-academic innovative activity andapplying the  European models of the spin-off companies.

2. Assisting in  financing of the academic spin-off companies (through grants, charitable foundations, investment from business angels, private institutional investors, investment funds).

3. Boosting up the practical knowledge of university staff through training and retraining on  new organisational systems of the spin-off companies within the University environment.

4. Sharing experience and information on the tools and techniques of “growing academic spin-off companies”, used in the EU countries, Russia, Georgia and China.
