The Faculty of Humanities hosted a seminar within Jean Monnet Module

NVSU continues its work within Erasmus+ Programme, Jean Monnet Activities, Jean Monnet Module 574865-EPP-1-2016-1-RU-EPPJMO-MODULE “The European Union Social Policy” grant agreement 2016-2593/001-001.               

On the 22nd November the Faculty of Humanities hosted a research seminar titled “Lisbon strategy of 2000 and establishment of one social policy in European Union”. The seminar provided a platform for discussions of the issues that are crucial for the Jean Monnet Module:

- regulatory bodies of European Union and their role in social policy implementation;

- social legislation of EU;

- social policy models of EU member states;

- Lisbon strategy of 2000 and establishment of one social policy in European Union;

- social insurance in EU: issues and prospects;

- European migration crisis 2015-2017 and its impact on social practices in EU; social adaptation and integration of immigrants; immigrants and European labor market.

Bachelor and Master Degree students, PhD candidates and professors took part in the seminar.
