PREPARATORY DEPARTMENT FOR FOREIGN CITIZENS 

Nizhnevartovsk State University invites foreign citizens to enroll to the Russian Language Programme of preparatory department designed to enable foreigners apply for Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes taught in Russian. The programme covers intensive Russian language learning as well as study of specific subjects (depending on chosen specialization).

NUMBER OF ACADEMIC HOURS:  2 376 

                        Russian language – 1224 (contact hours - 612) 

                        Specific subjects – 1152 (contact hours – 468)

SPECIALIZATIONS: 

                        Humanities (History of Russia, Social Studies, Literature)

                        Engineering (History of Russia, Mathematics, Physics, ICT)

                        Natural sciences (History of Russia, Mathematics, Physics, Biology)

                        Economics (History of Russia, Economics, Mathematics)

STUDY PERIOD: October - June, annually 

TUITION FEE in 2024/2025 - 140 000,00 Russian rubles per academic year. Tuition fee could be paid in 2 installments.

• All preparatory programme students are offered accommodation at NVSU Residence Hall. Monthly rent - 1 694 Russian rubles 
• Upon completion of the programme students are awarded certificates of completion with details of learning outcomes.

HOW TO APPLY: 

• Fill in online application form
• Scan national / foreign passport as well as a notary certified translation of the passport into Russian and send them to NVSU International office international@nvsu.ru.
• NVSU International office will contact you by email within 5 days of getting your application form to confirm that you’re signed in.
