The lab staff explores current trends in philosophy, person's place in society, socio-cultural processes in the context of preclassical, classical and modern philosophy.
Researchers define the topics of their work, create conditions for advanced training of teachers in philosophy, analyze educational activities at the university, organize scientific and practical conferences, seminars and round tables.
The main purpose of the laboratory is to study current trends in the scientific and philosophical understanding of human existence and socio–cultural processes in the context of preclassical, classical and modern philosophy, to search for ways and methods to optimize the interaction of an individual, group, society with a socio-cultural system.
Main purposes:
- defining directions and topics;
- creating conditions for professional development of teachers in philosophical disciplines, as well as for the exchange of teachers' experience;
- scientific support of educational activities at the university;
- organization and conduct of fundamental, exploratory and applied scientific research in the laboratory profile in accordance with the approved plan;
- organization of round tables, seminars, participation in the organization of scientific conferences.
Deadlines for scientific research works: beginning of 2022, end of 2023.

- Philosophical analysis of modern youth culture: the main problems and trends;
- Comparative analysis of concepts: a dialogue of Eastern and Western cultures;
- The Identity Crisis of a modern personality: the experience of philosophical reflection;
- Information Society: problems and development trends.

- man in the modern cultural space: the evolution of values and needs;
- the problem of humanism in cross-cultural studies: East and West;
- methodology of philosophical and scientific research;
- information culture, society and personality;
- comparative analysis of confessional religious and philosophical teachings of modern Western concepts and Russian philosophy.
The results of SRL's work are used in courses: philosophy, personality theory, philosophical anthropology, philosophy of culture.
