Erasmus+ Students and Alumni Association meeting was held in NVSU On June 9. 2017 the first working meeting of Erasmus+ Alumni Association of NVSU dedicated to the establishment of the Association. The meeting was attended by the International Office staff members and students who have taken part in university exchange programs and studied in partner universities and were funded by Erasmus+ program. |

NVSU student has returned from JAMK University of Applied Sciencess Timur Novikov, 3rd year student of Faculty of Economics and Management, has successfully completed his studies at JAMK University of Applied Sciences in Jyväskylä. Timur spent spring semester from February to June 2017 there. |

NVSU students have returned from the University College South Denmark 3rd year NVSU students Olesya Gorbunova and Grogory Kovalkov, studying at the Faculty of Humanities, won the university competition to study at the University College of Southern Denmark - UCSYD in Aabenraa. They spent 5 months (February - June 2017) studying the college program of Crossing Borders: Cultural Diversity in Early Years Education. |

NVSU will take part in the project “European Union Study Weeks” Elena Fomenko, student of Faculty of Humanities, and Victoria Lazareva, academic mobility coordinator of NVSU International office, received grants to participate in the summer seminar within European Union Study Weeks. The seminar is arranged on June 23-27, 2017 in Tyumen.
The European schools are annual educational seminars which are held for active, creative, successful students and postgraduate students who speak English very well and are interested in international relations. The best Russian and European experts take part in the project of the European schools. They propose their own points of view regarding relations between Russia and Europe, integration processes in the European Union (EU), Russia’s perspectives in economy, international relations and education.

First selection results of the Erasmus + Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals Education Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency announced first results of 2017 selection round of the Erasmus+ Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals. Nizhnevartovsk State University received funding for implementing mobility activities of students, teachers and staff with University College of South Denmark (Denmark) and JAMK University of Applied Sciences (Finland). |

Danish students share their impressions of studying at NVSU Nizhnevartovsk State University and University College of South Denmark have exchanged students and faculty members for a number of years. Between 2014 and 2017, 10 NVSU students have studied at University College of South Denmark through academic mobility programmes: Denmark National Study Grant and Erasmus+ scholarships for mobility of individuals.
In March 2016, NVSU welcomed first exchange students from UCSYD. In March 2017, NVSU welcomed Kim Hultgreen and Simone Duus, 2nd year UCSYD students, grantees of the Erasmus+ scholarship. |

Jean Monnet first year implementation results On May 19th NVSU hosted a meeting of Jean Monnet Module coordinators. The Modules were approved for funding by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission in the 2nd call for applications within “Jean Monnet Action” in 2016. The main aim of the meeting was to review the results of the first year implementation of Jean Monnet Modules in NVSU. |

Dissemination of JM Module “Standardization in Product Quality Management: EU Experience and Cooperation Prospects” Within the VIII Eurasia Economic Youth Forum held in Yekaterinburg, April 19th, Oksana Kozlova, Professor of the Department for Commerce and Management, gave an open lecture dedicated to the EU Experience of Proprietary Standards. This year the Forum welcomed over 2 000 participants, 47 honorary guests and 299 experts. |

First year of Jean Monnet Module “Standardization in Product Quality Management: EU Experience and Cooperation Prospects” is coming to its end. Students have already completed the course and submitted their final assignments. The course covered such topics as International Standards, National Standards of EU, EU directives and harmonization of standards, Quality control in Russia and EU. |

Department for Commerce and Management launches lectures within Jean Monnet Module Within the second call for proposals of the Erasmus+ program , Nizhnevartovsk State University submitted 4 applications for Jean Monnet Activities. As a result, 3 applications were approved for funding by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission, one of them being “Standardization in Product Quality Management: EU Experience and Cooperation Prospects” coordinated by Inna Volkova, the head of the Department for Commerce and Management” and Oksana Kozlova, Professor of the Department. |

Exchange students from University College South Denmark experience Russian hospitality 2 March, 2017 Nizhnevartovsk State University welcomed two exchange students, Simone Westergaard Duus and Kim Bisgaard Hultgreen, from UCSYD. Simone and Kim are 2nd year Bachelor students and will be undertaking practical training at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology within the framework of Erasmus+ exchange program (Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals). |

Study Visit to University of Barcelona within Jean Monnet Module Lala Yakubova, the Head of the Department for Document Studies and General History and module coordinator, traveled to University of Barcelona (Spain) February 20-25 for a study visit as a part of the Module implementation process. The Module is titled “The European Union Social Policy” and is devoted to the study of historical and current European social policy issues. |

NVSU participated in kick-off meeting of UNISON Project In February University of Santiago de Compostela (Santiago de Compostela, Spain) hosted the kick-off meeting of UNISON Project (University-enterprise cooperation via spin-off companies network). The project is implemented within the framework of Erasmus+ program, KA2: cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practices - Сapacity Building in the field of Higher Education). NVSU became a member of the consortium and was appointed responsible for the implementation of Work Package 8 “Dissemination”. Other members of the consortium are partner universities from Spain, Germany, Portugal, China and Georgia. |
