From 24 to 30 October, ISInCAR Project Teams of Russian universities (Nizhnevartovsk State University, Yugra State University, University of Tyumen) took part in the first working meeting at Yugra State University (Khanty-Mansiysk).
Participants went on excursions around Khanty-Mansiysk and Univeristy, YuSU Field Station in Shapsha and Museum of Fungi. Within the course "Carbon Polygons" the following presentations were made by experts:

At the end of the course, students went to the Mukhrino international field station, established to study climate change, biodiversity, carbon and water cycling in peatland ecosystems. Students developed their own team projects "My own ISInCAR" for a grant and presented them to Dr Gareth Rees, Scott Polar Research Institute (University of Cambridge), Tatiana Yakovleva and Valentina Kostormichenko, British Embassy Moscow.
