Following the recent agreement on cooperation between HSUH and Hainan College of Business of Economics, NSUH students and teaching staff received a wonderful opportunity to participate in the Chinese Summer Linguistic School from 8 to 23 August.
The school will take place in the city of Haikou, the capital of Hainan island. The island has a location similar to 
Hawaii, and that’s why it’s commonly called “Asian Hawaii”.
Hainan College of Business of Economics welcomes students, teachers and other administrative staff who want to learn Chinese, make new friends, learn more about this amazing country. Every day, Russian and native speaking teachers give 4 lessons which cover the Chinese language, calligraphy, cultural studies, watching Chinese films, learning about basics of tea ceremony, tours around Hainan province and nearby places.
The classes of Chinese are tailored with innovative teaching methods and techniques and are conducted in small (5-10 students). Russian-speaking teachers give lessons on grammar basics, while native speaking teachers work on proper pronunciation. All teachers and staff of the camp are graduates of higher education institutions, teachers of Chinese, including native speakers.
