Panel Session 4 “New Challenges of Green Economy: Practices of the European Union and Russia” within Final International Research and Practical Conference

Panel Session “New Challenges of Green Economy: Practices of the European Union and Russia” was held on April 17, 2019, as part of the Final International Research and Practical Conference “Intercultural Dialogue and Collaboration of the European Union and Russia: Implementation of Jean Monnet Projects at Nizhnevartovsk State University”.

Aimed at discussing eco-oriented business within the concept of sustainable development, the Session included such issues as environmental education and awareness within sustainable development of society; environmental entrepreneurship; European experience and approaches in developing green skills in business; ecological marketing as a modern concept and potential for business development; and Russian green business practices.

 

              

The Session was joined by both Russian and foreign researchers, university professors, and NVSU students.

  • Оksana Kozlova, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor at the Department for Commerce and Management, Nizhnevartovsk State University;
  • Matti Hirsilä, Head of Global Business Management, JAMK University of Applied Sciences (Finland);
  • Inna Volkova, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department for Commerce and Management, Nizhnevartovsk State University;
  • Natalia Gorbacheva, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Senior Researcher, Institute of Economics and Industrial Engineering, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences;
  • Yulia Kopylova, Senior Lecturer at the Department for Business and Commerce, Nizhnevartovsk State University;
  • Dinara Sadykova, Student at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Nizhnevartovsk State University.

The session also provided for virtual participation of 59 for experts, researchers and teachers from 19 universities and research institutes (Germany, Azerbaijan, USA, China).
