On April 16-19, NVSU held hosted the student forum ““Erasmus” Generation at NVSU”. The events of the forum were aimed at expanding knowledge of the European integration processes and issues related to the environment, history, economics and legislation of the European Union. The forum was moderated by Marina Stepanova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of NVSU Department for Linguistics and Translation, and Simon Bødker Andersen, International Coordinator, Lecturer at the Department of Social Education, University College of South Denmark (Denmark). The forum’s objectives included deepening knowledge about European integration, introducing the European dimension into the educational process of NVSU, raising awareness of the European Union’s Erasmus+ Programme and Jean Monnet Activities, boosting interest among students and faculty members towards participation in the EU funded programmes and enhancing student and staff mobility.

The forum has been a part of the Final Research and Practical Conference “Intercultural Dialogue and Collaboration of the European Union and Russia: Implementation of Jean Monnet Projects at Nizhnevartovsk State University”.
