In May, 2010 a delegation, led by the Vice-Rector for Research Policy Denis Pogonyshev visited JAMK, the partner University of Applied Sciences, Jyväskylä, Finland.

The delegation included: the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology I.P. Istomina, the Head of the Department of Philology N.V. Annenkova. The delegation had the following goals: to build up an effective cooperation pattern, as well as to discuss the problem of internationalization of specialists training at the European level.

During meetings with the university officials the members of the delegation developed the cooperation program for the next few years and reviewed the ongoing projects. The members of the delegation had a chance to get acquainted with the main educational programs presented in the university. They also had a chance to get an inner sight at the system of management in JAMK University colleges. JAMK quality assurance system and the experience exchange in the sphere of graduates’ job placement were the points of the NSUH delegates’ special interest, along with the process of involvement of different business organizations to the training of the most needed specialists.
