During the period of 5-11 June, Svetlana Zykova, Candidate of Philological Sciences and an Assistant Professor of the NSUH Linguistics, Translation and Interpreting Department, took a Spanish Language teacher training course at Mester Academy in Salamanca (Spain).

The course is designed to help non-native teachers of Spanish reach a higher level of fluency, refresh and extend their knowledge of Spanish Teaching methodology.

The program centered mainly on theoretical aspects of Teaching Spanish. It also included intensive Spanish classes as well as lectures on Spanish History, Literature and Art. Svetlana took a great opportunity to share experience with other Russian trainees, master her language skills and become familiar with new effective methods of Teaching Spanish.
