On March 1, Science Cafe "Interinstitutional partnership in climate change agenda" was held at Yugra State University within ISInCAR project. Students and teachers of NVSU Faculty of Ecology and Engineering participated in the event in online format. The speakers were researchers of UNESCO department at YSU, Professor of the University of Cambridge, employees of Terra Motion and the oil companies Salym Petroleum Development and Uraineftegaz.

Vladimir Khamedov, Associate Professor of YSU Higher Environmental School held workshop "3D Visualization and analysis of spatial data" where participants learned methods of working in geoinformation programme "ArcGIS Earth". Vitaly Khoroshavin, Director of the Institute of Earth Sciences at University of Tyumen organized discussion session "Climate change and adapting to impacts".
Students of project teams took part in Presentation Competition "Adaptation to current climate change problems". NVSU students presented the following reports:
- "Climate change impact on language diversity", Arina Kashapova, Master's student, Linguistics;
- "Natural hazards on the territory of Nizhnevartovsk in the aspect of climate change", Vladimir Isypov, Researcher, NVSU Geoecological Research Laboratory;
- "Studies of Duckweed heat shock proteins under the influence of metals. Popularization of GBIF platform at Nizhnevartovsk State University", Anzhelika Taslimullina, Bachelor's student, Ecology.
Arina Kashapova and Vladimir Isypov won the first and second place. At the end of meeting Vladimir Isypov held the Research Quiz on climate change.

19 November All-Russian forum "Yugra International 2024" was held at Nizhnevartovsk State University. The event brought together 100 students, including 70 international students who are currently studying at Russian universities. |
