Elena Bauer, Associate Professor at the Department for Pedagogy and Pedagogical and Social Education at Nizhnevartovsk State University, returned from study visit to Denmark. Ms Bauer was on a working visit to the University College of Southern Denmark (UCSYD) from May 14 to 19. UCSYD is a long-standing partner within the framework of the Erasmus + program (Key Action 1: Mobility of students and teachers).

The program of the visit was rich and included an overview of the leading educational and social practices in Aabenraa, Haderslev, and Esbjerg. Elena presented the Department for Pedagogy and Pedagogical and Social Education of NVSU and participants proceeded to discuss the results of the annual academic mobility of students between the NVSU and UCSYD and outline prospects for further cooperation.

During the meeting with Bo Morfost Rasmussen, expert of interprofessional cooperation and the Head of Research in the field of social work and social pedagogy of the University College of Southern Denmark, further guidelines for joint research were outlined.

Ms Bauer gave a lecture for the 3rd year students of Esbjerg campus on the topic of Social work with family and children (experience of the KhMAO-Ugra institutions). Students of the University College of South Denmark were interested in the practice of organizing social work in Russia, working with various types of families, orphans, disabled people, and others.
