Danil Kharitonov, 3rd year student of the Department for Linguistics and Translation, Faculty of Humanities, has successfully completed his studies at University of Barcelona (Spain) within Erasmus+ Program.

Danil won the competition to study at UB in the fall 2016 and went abroad in the spring semester of 2016-2017 academic year. Danil studied Linguistics and within this field he attended classes in Descriptive Grammar, Cognitive Linguistics, English Semantics, and British Literature of XIX century.

Danil shared his positive impressions from this experience. It allowed him to apply already acquired knowledge in the new context and become more flexible in both academic and daily life. Danil pointed out that there was a small language barrier in the beginning, however, it was soon overcome. Danil’s recommendation for all students going to study abroad to start searching for accommodation well in advance since Barcelona is a megapolis with a lot of students flocking there to study every semester.
