On May 17–19, 2016, Mette Ernlund, Head of International department, and Martin Brunsgaard, International coordinator of the department for Social Education from the University College South Denmark, paid a working visit to the Nizhnevartovsk State University within the Erasmus + staff mobility program between the Nizhnevartovsk State University and the University College of South Denmark.
During their visit Mette Ernlund and Martin Brunsgaard joined the meeting with the NVSU representatives of the Faculty of pedagogy and psychology which was devoted to the discussions on structures of practical training for preschool education and psychology of education and perspectives for cooperation between NVSU and UCSYD in the field of research.
As a part of their working visit, Mette Ernlund and Martin Brunsgaard visited educational facilities, where UC SYD students had joined a practical training program at NVSU within three months, including School ?42, Kindergarten ? 48 “Zolotoy Petushok”, Kindergarten ? 17 “Ladushki” and Izluchinsk Boarding School for Deaf and Hearing Impaired Children.
UC SYD representatives also took part in the events of the international seminar “Building capacities of international units and departments” within the project “Bridging the cooperation gap: Nordic-Russian Network for International Relations in Higher Education”.
Within the framework of the information session “Study in Europe: Denmark and Finland” the members of University College of South Denmark introduced the audience to information about UC SYD and Erasmus + courses offered by UC SYD.
