On December 9-19, 2015, a NVSU academic member Natalia Samokhina, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Assistant Professor at the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Tourism, took part in the training program on the Educational Systems of the European Union: Prospects for Cooperation and Development (Prague, Czech Republic).
The program included discussions of the following issues:
? higher education system in the European Union and the Czech Republic: stages of development, public and private universities;
? teaching models and strategies: public and private universities in the Czech Republic and the European Union; specifics of curriculum development in Czech HEIs (as exemplified by Charles University);
? modern e-learning technologies; publications in journals Scopus and Web of Science; raising awareness on European funds, grants, programs and funding sources.
On completing the training program, Natalia Samokhina received an international training certificate and participated in the International Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities.
