09.03.2017 The call for applications within Erasmus + KA1 is open for students from the University of Barcelona
The call is now open for the course “Linguistics” for international students of University of Barcelona.   The course runs from September 1, 2017 to January 30, 2018. Deadline for applications is April 15th, 2017 The Erasmus+ Programme is a European funding programme offering university students a possibility of studying or doing an internship abroad in another country for a period of at least 2 months and maximum 12 months per cycle of studies. Erasmus+ now offers the possibility to go way beyond the European borders as well. Erasmus + Key Action 1: Mobility of Individuals supports mobility in the education, training and youth sectors and aims to bring long lasting benefits to the participants and the organizations involved. Under Key Action 1 students get scholarships covering all costs associated with the stay and study at a foreign university (travel costs, accommodation costs, visa, etc). NVSU and UdB have received grants in this key area, enabling NVSU and UdB students and teachers to join training and internships within inter-institutional agreement (Key Action 1: Mobility for learners and staff, Higher Education Student and Staff Mobility). 01.03.2017 Open lecture on EU Social Policies within Jean Monnet Module
February 14, 2017 Lala Yakubova, the head of the Department for Document Sciences and General History and Module Academic Coordinator, delivered a presentation on the issues of social space and social policy models in EU.

01.03.2017 NVSU launches Jean Monnet Module “The European Union Social Policy”
Within the second call for proposals of the Erasmus+ program Nizhnevartovsk State University submitted 4 applications for Jean Monnet Activities. As a result, 3 applications were approved for funding by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission. Jean Monnet Module “The European Union Social Policy” (574865-EPP-1-2016-1-RU-EPPJMO-MODULE) submitted by the Department for Document Sciences and General History and coordinated by Lala Yakubova is one of the applications selected for funding in 2016.

26.01.2017 Nizhnevartovsk state university launches its second Jean Monnet module
Within the second call for proposals of the Erasmus+ program Nizhnevartovsk State University submitted 4 applications for Jean Monnet Activities. As a result, 3 applications were approved for funding by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission. Jean Monnet Module “Interaction of environment and human health: Experience of the EU” (574826-EPP-1-2016-1-RU-EPPJMO-MODULE) submitted by the Department for Ecology and coordinated by Irina Pogonysheva and Denis Pogonyshev is one of the applications selected for funding in 2016.

19.01.2017 NVSU student has returned from the University College South Denmark
3rd year NVSU student Anna Bukreeva, studying at the Faculty of Humanities, won the university competition to study at the University College of Southern Denmark - UCSYD in Aabenraa. Anna spent 5 months (August - December 2016) studying the college program of Crossing Borders: Cultural Diversity in Early Years Education.

20.12.2016 NVSU hosted Final International Conference of the TEMPUS Project
After a three-year implementation of the TEMPUS Project E3M "Evaluation of Quality of Cooperation in Education Ecosystem as a Mechanism for Building Professional Competencies", on November 7 - 11, 2016 Nizhnevartovsk State University hosted the Final International Conference “Applying European Practices of Engaging Employers in Educational Activities of Russian Higher Education Institution”.

14.12.2016 Nizhnevartovsk State University launches Jean Monnet Module
Nizhnevartovsk State University submitted 4 applications for Jean Monnet Key Action within the second call of the Erasmus+ program. 3 applications were approved for funding by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission. One of the approved applications is Jean Monnet Module “Standardization in Product Quality Management: EU Experience and Cooperation Prospects” and it was developed by the Department of Commerce and Management.

With the support of the basic linguistic terminology that is offered in the course, you will soon be able to comment differences between languages. Anyone who wishes to understand how languages work, and how they can give us insight into the human mind is very welcome to join.

19.10.2016 The call for applications “Psychology in Teacher Education” within Erasmus + KA1 is now open
The call is now open for the course “Psychology in Teacher Education” for international students. The course runs from March 1, 2017 to May 31, 2017. Application deadline is November 1st. Erasmus+ is the EU programme for education, training, youth and sport, designed to be more global and more integrated than ever before. The programme offers a wide range of opportunities for students and staff to study and train abroad. The Erasmus + funds international credit mobility for students to study in a receiving institution for a period of 3-12 months. Students  can  also  do  a traineeship abroad for a period of 2 to 12 months.             The course “Psychology in Teacher Education” targets students of social education, early childhood education and student teachers for pre-primary and primary schools. It includes the traineeship at schools and educational centers which is aimed at developing professional competences of future teachers by improving their theoretical knowledge in teaching methods

09.09.2016 NVSU student took part in the International Summer School at the University of Barcelona
This summer, July 2-24, Olga Zhmakina, a 3rd year NVSU student of the Faculty of Humanities, took part in the International Summer School of the University of Barcelona. Following the cooperation agreement between the University of Barcelona and NVSU, the Spanish partner offered NVSU students scholarships to participate in the International Summer School. The school, held every July, welcomes students from all around the world and offers a variety of courses in English. The school participants acquire and expand their knowledge in various fields, such as art, culture, natural and social sciences.

08.09.2016 European breakthrough for NVSU: 6 projects approved for funding within Erasmus +
In July 2016, the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission published the results of Erasmus +calls in the following areas: Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals Key Action 2: Cooperation for Innovation and Good Practice Jean Monnet Activities Nizhnevartovsk State University filed 11 applications for a variety of key actions within the II call for Erasmus+ 2015-2016 program. As a result of the call, 6 projects involving NVSU were approved for funding.

08.09.2016 Nizhnevartovsk State University has signed a cooperation agreement with Liepaja University (Latvia)
On June 14, 2016, Nizhnevartovsk State University signed a cooperation agreement with Liepaja University (Latvia). The parties consolidated their intention to develop cooperation through joint activities and international projects. Special attention is to be given to student and teacher mobility between the universities. In particular, the parties plan to jointly apply for Erasmus + program (Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals).

05.09.2016 First exchange students from University College of South Denmark
NVSU and University College of South Denmark have a long-standing partnership that allows both sides to have exchange programs for both students and faculty. As a part of academic mobility programs such as Denmark national study grant and Erasmus+ scholarship program, 8 NVSU students have participated in the exchange program at the University College of South Denmark since 2014. Karen Rosenberg Hansen and Christina Hansen, 2nd year students of the University College of South Denmark became the first exchange students from at NVSU. The students did their practical training at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology in NVSU from March till May, 2016.   Karen and Christina were awarded Erasmus+ scholarship,  one of the most prestigious European student grants. The scholarship covers all costs associated with the stay and study at a foreign university (travel costs, accommodation costs, visa, etc).

05.09.2016 NVSU student received Erasmus + scholarship
Anna Bukreeva, NVSU 3rd year student of the Faculty of Humanities, have successfully passed the competitive selection procedure to study the course "Crossing Borders: Cultural Diversity in Early Years Education" at the University College of South Denmark- UCSYD from August to December 2016. In the context of cooperation between NVSU and UCSYD, the universities submitted a joint application for funding of academic mobility within the European Commission Erasmus + (Key action 1: Credit mobility). Following the competition, the University College of South Denmark received a quota for 2 Russian students to study at UCSYD with a financial support of European Commission program Erasmus+.

18.07.2016 NVSU teachers took research training at the University of Barcelona within the ERANET-PLUS program
Irina Ziyazova, Senior Lecturer at the Department for Linguistics and Translation Studies, and Tatyana Storchak, Assistant Professor at the Department of Ecology took training at the University of Barcelona in frame of the ERANET Plus program from December 2015 to June 2016. In 2015 Irina Ziyazova and Tatiana Storchak were awarded PhD and post PhD grants for carrying out research in Linguistics and Biology. The objective of Eranet Plus program is to create lasting associations between Russian HEIs and the European HEIs, providing each institution the experience of the European model and guidance on how to develop new standards as well as to construct a stable mobility between Europe and Russia and to develop a solid framework for future collaborations.

06.07.2016 NVSU teacher participates in Fullbright Foreign Student Program
Yana Kraichinskaya, Lecturer of the Department for Linguistics and Translation Studies, studied for a Master’s degree at SIT Graduate Institute through a Fulbright Foreign Student Program grant for students and graduates. The program lasted 2 years, from August 2014 to May 2016. The program is designed to enable scholars to better experience America and to further the Fulbright Program’s goal of increasing mutual understanding between the people of the U.S. and people of other countries.  The program had several components: Arrangements and activities             The Institute of International Education organized orientations for over 100 students and graduates in various cities of USA. Yana’s orientation was held in Washington and lasted one week.

29.06.2016 NVSU student has returned from the University College South Denmark
3rd year NVSU student Elena Fomenko, studying at the Faculty of Humanities, won the university competition to study at the University College of Southern Denmark - UCSYD in Aabenraa.  Elena spent 5 months (February - June 2016) studying the college program of Crossing Borders: Cultural Diversity in Early Years Education. The student was awarded Erasmus+ scholarship, which is the most prestigious European student grant. It covers all costs of stay and study at a EU university (cost of travel, accommodation, visa costs and insurance). Elena’s biggest dream was to study abroad and get to know how people from all over the world live. Thanks to NVSU international seminars, she learnt about mobility programs offered by the University College South Denmark and seized the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ program.

14.06.2016  NVSU is awarded Erasmus + mobility grants
Based on the results of the 2nd call for applications within Erasmus + Key action 1: "Learning Mobility for Individuals". Starting from 2017,  NVSU students and teaching staff members will be able to take training at two partner institutions which submitted applications jointly with NVSU. Erasmus + provides new opportunities for student, postgraduates, teachers and administrative staff mobility within the framework of Key action 1. The academic mobility has a positive effect on later job prospects and constitutes an incentive for comparison and updating study programs, improving teaching standards and strengthening international and student services both for students/staff and universities.
