As part of the meeting devoted to the project of Social Integration of Minority and Migrant Children within the cooperation program between Nordic countries and Russia, which was held in Aabenraa, Denmark on April 28 – May 1, at a special ceremony University College South Denmark and Nizhnevartovsk State University signed a Memorandum of Understanding and a Supplementary Agreement on the student exchange. The parties confirmed their intentions to implement the agreements and discussed the student exchange implementation plan.

In 2014 NVSU students took part in the student exchange program for the first time. In February-May 2014, Yekaterina Abramova and Yana Posudnevskaya, the students from the Faculty of Humanities, completed a training course in University College South Denmark. The students took an active part in the events devoted to the project of Social Integration of Minority and Migrant Children where NVSU acts as one of the Russian partner universities.

The Rector of UC South Denmark, Birthe Friis Mortensen, gave her best wishes to the Rector of NVSU, Sergey Gorlov, and to the staff of the university and expressed hope for a successful long-term cooperation.
