The Festival of German Days in the Russian Regions, held annually for the last nine years, is a celebrated tradition and an integral part of German-Russian cooperation. In December 2012, the Germany Embassy in Moscow announced the start of a competition for the awarding of embassy grants to institutions wishing to host German cultural events in the Russian regions during 2013. We are pleased to announce that, following an application to this process, Nizhnevartovsk State University was successful in receiving one such embassy grant to finance a German cultural festival at our university.

The German Days festival at NVSU «Hallo, Deutschland» will take place in October and November 2013 and will offer students, teachers and staff members a chance to get acquainted with the rich culture, customs and traditions of Germany. Also at this time, the university will welcome representatives of Studentenwerk Karlsruhe, who will participate in the events.
