NVSU participates in “Nordic-Russian Cooperation” program

It is the first time when NVSU became one of the partners for the implementation of the European cooperation in education and science 2012 - 2015 program between Russia and Northern European countries.

The project's consortium received funds to implement the international project: «Multidisciplinary education in the health and social sphere between Nordic and Russia Higher Education Insitutions». The members of the project consortium are JAMK University of Applied Sciences (Jyväskylä), University College Southern Denmark, Nizhnevartovsk State University and Saint-Petersburg State Institute of Psychology and Social Work.

The grant declarant and the coordinator from the foreign party is an old and reliable NVSU partner – JAMK University of Applied Sciences. In its turn, NVSU is the coordinator from the Russian party.

The main purpose of the project for multidisciplinary cooperation in higher education and science is to develop a distance learning course for students who would like to receive a Master's or a PhD degree. The project title is: Social integration of minority and migrant children in Denmark, Finland and Russia.

It should be noted that the project received a positive response from an expert group and entered the list of 20 projects approved for financing by Norwegian Center for International Cooperation in Education.

The project starts in October, 2013.
