Finnish guests at NSUH Anniversary Celebration

For its 20th Anniversary Celebration, NSUH was pleased to welcome to Nizhnevartovsk the Vice-Rector of JAMK University of Applied Sciences (Juvaskula, Finland), Heikki Malinen, alongside JAMK specialist in International Business Education, Timo Juntunen, and Project Manager Heikki Pusa.

    

During their stay, the delegates met with NSUH officials to discuss possibilities for further cooperation and joint project development. Delegates also attended an enlarged session of the scientific research laboratory for innovation technologies in education, chaired by Vladimir GrebenyukovNSUH Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs. Also in attendance were the NSUH faculty deans, heads of departments and officials from the Nizhnevartovsk department of education, Nizhnevartovsk College of Humanities and Social Studies, and the Nizhnevartovsk Branch of "The Regional Business Incubator".

    

A large part of the session was devoted to the presentation of JAMK’s educational products and collaborative initiatives in corporate education. Following this the NSUH deans gave presentations on their faculties and discussed collaboration perspectives with regards to academic mobility and vocational teacher training with JAMK colleagues.

    

In addition to their meetings, the delegates from Finland attended a 20th Anniversary Celebration Concert during which JAMK Vice-Rector Heikki Malinen spoke to convey the greetings of JAMK University to NSUH Rector Sergey Gorlov, the NSUH leadership, teachers, staff, students and alumni.
