Nizhnevartovsk State University is actively cooperating with University of Applied Languages (SDI München). From 23 to 27 November students of NVSU Faculty of Humanities participated in SDI online classes on German-Russian. NVSU students and teaching staff got acquainted with the main approaches to translating different types of texts and materials.  

The students had a unique opportunity to attend classes on economic and technical terminology, translation from German to Russian, sight translation and interpreting of public speech. Through the classes, students gained new perspectives on the subject matter and solidified their knowledge and skills. Furthermore, that experience has become a good practice for students to understand spontaneous speech of native speakers in the professional context.
