Nizhnevartovsk State University joined the consortium of the international project "International scientific integration of early career researchers (ISInCAR)". It was supported within call for proposals of the British Embassy Moscow and the British Consulate General Ekaterinburg in 2020-2021 to implement cooperative Russian-British initiatives. The project aims at improving scientific research, promoting  knowledge exchange and implementing international exchange (learning languages, customs) into community of young scientists. Timeframe: April 2020 - February 2023.  

The consortium also includes: 

• Yugra State University; 

• Tyumen State University; 

• Bangor University (Wales); 

• University of the Highlands and Islands (Scotland); 

• University of the West of England (England). 

University scientists plan to organize joint research work of Russian and British students enrolled in Master’s degree and PhD programmes. It will focus on interdisciplinary approach. Research will be devoted to the studies of climate change and its impact on the global community. Final-year students of Master’s degree and PhD programmes could use obtained results in their thesis papers.  

In addition, short-term internships to the UK for students, teachers and staff of NVSU are planned. Collaborative work will promote developing and strengthening cooperation between universities in consortium, further research and publication of scientific articles.
