NVSU is to develop a joint master degree program with JAMK University of Applied Sciences

NVSU members Denis Pogonyshev, First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Research, Gennady Malgin, Vice-Rector for Education and Oksana Moroz, Head of International Office, have visited JAMK University of Applied Sciences in Jyväskylä. The visit was a part of the Erasmus+ 2014-2020 program project, Key Action 1: Individual mobility for students and teachers.

The parties have discussed the prospects for developing a joint master’s program in International Business, which will allow students from NVSU and JAMK University of Applied Sciences to study at both universities and receive two diplomas. The project seems promising due to similarities in curriculum and module content, academic schedules, and requirements for the development of business / entrepreneurship programs in two institutions. The program development is to be launched in September 2019.

Heikki Malinen, Vice Rector of JAMK University of Applied Sciences, has emphasized that a joint master’s program will be a new stage in cooperation between JAMK and NVSU.

JAMK University of Applied Sciences has been an NVSU’s reliable partner for 9 years. Over this period, two universities have implemented many joint projects, held conferences and seminars and exchanged students, teachers and staff members.
