The call is now open for the course “Psychology in Teacher Education” for international students. The course runs from March 1, 2017 to May 31, 2017.
Application deadline is November 1st.
Erasmus+ is the EU programme for education, training, youth and sport, designed to be more global and more integrated than ever before. The programme offers a wide range of opportunities for students and staff to study and train abroad. The Erasmus + funds international credit mobility for students to study in a receiving institution for a period of 3-12 months. Students can also do a traineeship abroad for a period of 2 to 12 months.
The course “Psychology in Teacher Education” targets students of social education, early childhood education and student teachers for pre-primary and primary schools. It includes the traineeship at schools and educational centers which is aimed at developing professional competences of future teachers by improving their theoretical knowledge in teaching methods
The traineeship will take place in the following social educational centers:
- Nizhnevartovsk Sanatorium Secondary School
The school offers adapted primary and basic general educational programs for students with intellectual disabilities (general educational program adapted for students with an account for their psychophysical needs and individual abilities and ensuring adjustment of developmental disorders and social adaptation).
Kardeya Center for Social Assistance to Families and Children
The center provides various social services:
- comprehensive social assistance (including temporary shelter) for women and their minor children in difficult situations and women and children who became victims of violence;
- day care for minor children and teenagers (aged 7-18) in difficult situations, including daily social services; social, medical, educational, psychological services; hot meals; expert advice;
- social services for families and minor children in difficult life situations
- Izluchinsk Boarding School for Children with Hearing Disabilities
The school’s mission is to ensure modern education, cultural and moral upbringing, harmonious development and social adaptation of children and teenagers with hearing disabilities.The educational programs are adapted with an account for the age and psychological peculiarities of hearing impaired, deaf students and students with cochlear implants.

The school provides education for primary, secondary and basic school students.The School Center for Cultural and Language Adaptation of Migrant Children offers special psychological, speech therapy and educational services and group classes for migrant children aged 3-18.
Sun School is a modern kindergarten aimed at helping parents to develop a base for happy future of their pre-school children. The school has created a unique ABC concept to ensure harmonious education and upbringing of little children. Through games and playing activities children learn useful knowledge and master skills required for their future life.
The Russian language course is included in the traineeship programme and is aimed to develop Russian language communication skills, while also learning about the Russian culture and lifestyle.
