On April 19-21, 2016, NVSU took part in a meeting within Tempus IV project “Evaluation of Quality of Cooperation in Education Ecosystem as a Mechanism for Building Professional Competencies - E3M” held by Artesis Plantijn University College (Antwerp, Belgium).

The meeting welcomed the representatives of the project partner institutions – JAMK University of Applied Sciences (Jyväskylä, Finland), Artesis Plantijn University College (Antwerp, Belgium), Nizhnevartovsk State University (Nizhnevartovsk, Russia), Academy of Labor and Social Relations (Moscow, Russia), Voronezh State University (Russia), Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia (St. Petersburg, Russia).

NVSU was represented by Gennady Malgin, the Head of the Department of Power Engineering, Nadezhda Zhmakina, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, Tatiana Storchak, Assistant Professor of the Department of Ecology, Maxim Sliva, Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Methods of Teaching Computer Science, and Irina Ziyazova, Lecturer at the Department of Linguistics and Translation.

The first day of the meeting included discussions on the materials related to university-employer cooperation practices collected and integrated by the project team of Artesis Plantijn University College and presented to other project partners. The participants worked on the common approaches to modernizing and structuring the available materials.

The second day was devoted to the seminar on dissemination and information campaign. The participants identified the methods for disseminating the information and presenting the project results and university-employer cooperation activities to the target audience.

On the final day, the agenda included a presentation of Applying European Practices of Engaging Employers in Educational Activities of Russian Higher Educational Institutions made by the NVSU member Tatiana Storchak, final summarizing discussions and a certificate award ceremony.
