Tatiana Storchak, associate professor at the Department of Ecology, and Irina Ziyazova, lecturer at the Department of Linguistics and Translation, have been awarded an ERANET-PLUS scholarship. 

ERANET-PLUS is an academic mobility program funded by the European Union. It is aimed at developing the cooperation between the European and Russian universities through new mobility opportunities for master, postgraduate and doctoral students. Tatiana Storchak received a post PhD grant in biology and Irina Ziyazova got a PhD grant in linguistics. They will spend six months in the University of Barcelona, a largest university in Spain, working on their theses in cooperation with Spanish research advisors.

Within ERANET-PLUS program the grantees are provided with a monthly allowance to cover for living costs, transportation and health insurance.
