17.04.2017 "Standardization in Product Quality Management: EU Experience and Cooperation Prospects" course has finished
First year of Jean Monnet Module Standardization in Product Quality Management: EU Experience and Cooperation Prospects is coming to its end. Students have already completed the course and submitted their final assignments. The course covered such topics as International Standards, National Standards of EU, EU directives and harmonization of standards, Quality control in Russia and EU.

12.04.2017 Department for Ecology held Research project competition within Jean Monnet Module
On the 4th of April, 2017 Department for Ecology held a research project competition among school pupils and university and college students of the region. The competition was held as a part of Jean Monnet Module Interaction of environment and human health: Experience of the European Union activities, 574826-EPP-1-2016-1-RU-EPPJMO-MODULE.

16.03.2017 Department for Commerce and Management launches lectures within Jean Monnet Module
Within the second call for proposals of the Erasmus+ program , Nizhnevartovsk State University submitted 4 applications for Jean Monnet Activities. As a result, 3 applications were approved for funding by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission, one of them being Standardization in Product Quality Management: EU Experience and Cooperation Prospects coordinated by Inna Volkova, the head of the Department for Commerce and Management and Oksana Kozlova, Professor of the Department.

16.03.2017 Exchange students from University College South Denmark experience Russian hospitality
2 March, 2017 Nizhnevartovsk State University welcomed two exchange students, Simone Westergaard Duus and Kim Bisgaard Hultgreen, from UCSYD. Simone and Kim are 2nd year Bachelor students and will be undertaking practical training at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology within the framework of Erasmus+ exchange program (Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals).

14.03.2017 NVSU representatives took part in study visit for training within Erasmus + program
13-17 February, 2017 Irina Istomina, the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, and Victoria Lazareva, Academic Mobility Coordinator at NVSU, took part in a short-term training in University College South Denmark within Erasmus+ Program (Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals).

14.03.2017 Study Visit to University of Barcelona within Jean Monnet Module
Lala Yakubova, the Head of the Department for Document Studies and General History and module coordinator, traveled to University of Barcelona (Spain) February 20-25 for a study visit as a part of the Module implementation process. The Module is titled The European Union Social Policy and is devoted to the study of historical and current European social policy issues.

09.03.2017 NVSU participated in kick-off meeting of UNISON Project
In February University of Santiago de Compostela (Santiago de Compostela, Spain) hosted the kick-off meeting of UNISON Project (University-enterprise cooperation via spin-off companies network). The project is implemented within the framework of Erasmus+ program, KA2: cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practices - apacity Building in the field of Higher Education). NVSU became a member of the consortium and was appointed responsible for the implementation of Work Package 8 Dissemination. Other members of the consortium are partner universities from Spain, Germany, Portugal, China and Georgia.

09.03.2017 The call for applications within Erasmus + KA1 is open for students from the University of Barcelona
The call is now open for the course Linguistics for international students of University of Barcelona. The course runs fromSeptember 1, 2017 to January 30, 2018. Deadline for applicationsis April 15th, 2017 The Erasmus+Programme is a European funding programme offering university students a possibility of studying or doing an internship abroad in another country for a period of at least 2 months and maximum 12 months per cycle of studies. Erasmus+ now offers the possibility to go way beyond the European borders as well. Erasmus + Key Action 1: Mobility of Individuals supports mobility in the education, training and youth sectors and aims to bring long lasting benefits to the participants and the organizations involved. Under Key Action 1 students get scholarships covering all costs associated with the stay and study at a foreign university (travel costs, accommodation costs, visa, etc). NVSU and UdB have received grants in this key area, enabling NVSU and UdB students and teachers to join training and internships within inter-institutional agreement (Key Action 1: Mobility for learners and staff, Higher Education Student and Staff Mobility). 01.03.2017 Open lecture on EU Social Policies within Jean Monnet Module
February 14, 2017 Lala Yakubova, the head of the Department for Document Sciences and General History and Module Academic Coordinator, delivered a presentation on the issues of social space and social policy models in EU.

26.01.2017 Nizhnevartovsk state university launches its second Jean Monnet module
Within the second call for proposals of the Erasmus+ program Nizhnevartovsk State University submitted 4 applications for Jean Monnet Activities. As a result, 3 applications were approved for funding by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission. Jean Monnet Module Interaction of environment and human health: Experience of the EU (574826-EPP-1-2016-1-RU-EPPJMO-MODULE) submitted by the Department for Ecology and coordinated by Irina Pogonysheva and Denis Pogonyshev is one of the applications selected for funding in 2016.

19.01.2017 NVSU student has returned from the University College South Denmark
3rd year NVSU student Anna Bukreeva, studying at the Faculty of Humanities, won the university competition to study at the University College of Southern Denmark - UCSYD in Aabenraa. Anna spent 5 months (August - December 2016) studying the college program of Crossing Borders: Cultural Diversity in Early Years Education.
