26.02.2024 First NVSU students returned from China
In 2023 NVSU students, Egor Kviatkovskii and Vlada Nazarenko, successfully completed their exchange program "Information Technologies (IT)" at the Shandong Technology and Business University (China).

21.02.2024 NVSU held Yugra International 2023 Forum
In October 150 students took part in a three-day forum Yugra International 2023. The forum was supported by The Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodyozh) and won its grant. Students participated in 3 organized interactive sessions and created a model of their future intercultural university.

16.02.2024 NVSU students have completed Chinese language course
70 students of Nizhnevartovsk State University took part in the course and learnt the basics of the Chinese language and culture. The course was implemented jointly with Shandong Technology and Business University (China) from November 4 to December 17, 2023. The course was approved by the Ministry of Education of China.

24.11.2023 The call is now open for the course “Russian Philology and Literature” for international students
The course aims at providing fundamentals in Russian philology and literature, developing communication skills in Russian, ability to analyze and evaluate the phenomena of Russian language and literature in a broader linguistic and literary context. The course introduces the history of Russian literature, theory of language and writing studies.

23.05.2022 NVSU Department for Russian History and Document Science held the webinar
On April 27, NVSU Department for Russian History and Document Science held the webinar "Migration and European Integration: modern trends and challenges" within the Jean Monnet Module "EU integration: experience, achievements and modern challenges". The experts paid special attention to the role of migration in the development of European integration, identified the features of the migration regulation in the European Union, and the influence of the political and social and economic situation on migration, especially in the 2000s.

23.05.2022 Jean Monnet project officially launched at NVSU
Jean Monnet project, supported in 2021, has been officially launched at NVSU: Jean Monnet Chair "EU policy responses and effective solutions to protecting the environment and human health from climate change) / 101047553 - HEALTH". Main Objective: to stimulate teaching, research and debate on European policy responses and approaches to protecting environment and human health from climate change in order to contribute to enhanced environmental security efforts, reinforced preventative actions, improved healthcare legislation and raised public awareness.

12.04.2022 Introductory lecture and Quiz within Jean Monnet Module
On April 8, 2022, NVSU Department for Russian History and Document Science held  the introductory lecture "European Union: History and the Present" within Jean Monnet Module "EU integration: experience, achievements and modern challenges".At the end of the lecture students participated in the Quiz "What do we know about the EU?". Students answered questions on the EU economy and politics. All of the participants were awarded participation certificates.

01.04.2022 Quiz "What do we know about the EU?" within Jean Monnet Module "INTEG"
On April 8, 2022, NVSU will hold the introductory lecture "European Union: History and the Present" within Jean Monnet Module "EU integration: experience, achievements and modern challenges". At the end of the lecture students will participate in the Quiz "What do we know about the EU?".

30.03.2022 NVSU participated in the Jean Monnet programme competition
The Jean Monnet programme aims to expand knowledge about the European integration through teaching, research and discussions on history, politics, economics and legislation of the European Union, as well as EU relations with other regions of the world. The main objective of the programme is to introduce the European dimension into higher education systems. As part of the call 2021, Nizhnevartovsk State University submitted 5 applications: 4 Jean Monnet Modules and 1 Jean Monnet Chair. 

09.03.2022 Working meeting of ISInCAR project teams
On March 1, Science Cafe "Interinstitutional partnership in climate change agenda" was held at Yugra State University within ISInCAR project. Students and teachers of NVSU Faculty of Ecology and Engineering participated in the event in online format. The speakers were researchers of UNESCO department at YSU, Professor of the University of Cambridge, employees of Terra Motion and the oil companies Salym Petroleum Development and Uraineftegaz.

05.03.2022 Final lectures from Bangor University researchers
On February 16, Bangor University researchers held a final meeting for the participants of ISInCAR project "International scientific integration of early career researchers" and presented reports on microplastics. Moderator of the meeting - Dr. Christian Dunn, Associate Director of the Bangor Wetlands Group, active researcher and lecturer in wetland science.

22.02.2022 The second meeting of ISInCAR participants
On February 9, researchers and PhD students of the University of Highlands and Islands delivered presentations on peatland rewilding to ISInCAR participants. Moderator of the meeting - Dr Sam Bonnet, Senior Lecturer at the University of Highlands and Islands. Dr Pete Maxfiield, Senior Lecturer in Environmental Chemistry gave the presentation on Honeygar farm and carbon research.

21.02.2022 The call for NVSU Teaching Staff Mobility is extended
The call for applications is extended to all professors wishing to participate in international mobility at University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain). Purpose of the mobility is teaching at University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain). All conditions for call are described in the interinstitutional agreement between the sending and receiving institutions. Deadline for application - 25/02/2022.

18.02.2022 EU integration: Experience, Achievements and Modern Challenges

10.02.2022 British universities will give a series of lectures for ISInCAR participants
Researchers of British universities will give a series of lectures on ecology and biology as part of the project "International scientific integration of early career researchers (ISInCAR)". Consortium of the Project includes 3 British universities: Bangor University (Wales), University of the Highlands and Islands (Scotland), University of the West of England (England).

20.12.2021 The call is now open for the course “Biology” at University of Barselona
The Erasmus+ Programme is a European funding programme offering university students a possibility of studying or doing an internship abroad in another country for a period of at least 2 months and maximum 12 months per cycle of studies. Erasmus+ now offers the possibility to go way beyond the European borders as well. The course runs in the fall semester 2022.

14.12.2021 Day of Intercultural Communication at NVSU
On December 3, Nizhnevartovsk State University held Day of Intercultural Communication. Participants were welcomed by Denis Pogonyshev, First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Research, and Oksana Moroz, Head of International Office. Elena Blaginina and Alisa Puzina, students of NVSU Faculty of Humanities delivered presentation about Russia and its history. Students from Zambia and Ghana, Chisala Mbulo, Taonga Priska Lungu and Herbert Osea Eboa had come to NVSU to study Russian language. During the event they spoke about culture, interesting facts and customs of their countries.

13.12.2021 “Youth Bridge” for ISInCAR participants
NVSU Team of the Project "International scientific integration of early career researchers (ISInCAR)" took part in the event "Youth Bridge" for project participants. The aim of the event: cross-cultural exchange and students introduction. The consortium of the Project includes 6 partners from Russia (Nizhnevartovsk State University, Yugra State University, University of Tyumen), Wales (Bangor University), Scotland (University of the Highlands and Islands) and England (University of the West of England).

13.12.2021 Research School within ISInCAR Project
University of Tyumen has held the Research School for Russian teams of the Project "International scientific integration of early career researchers" (ISInCAR). Project teams went on excursions around Tyumen, TSU buildings, Historical Park "Russia - My History" and took part in All-Russian Geographical Dictation organized by Russian Geographical Society. Students visited Biological Station of TSU "Lake Kuchak", where the first carbon polygon was opened in August 2021.

25.11.2021 The first working meeting within ISInCAR Project
From 24 to 30 October, ISInCAR Project Teams of Russian universities (Nizhnevartovsk State University, Yugra State University, University of Tyumen) took part in the first working meeting at Yugra State University (Khanty-Mansiysk). At the end of the course, students went to the Mukhrino international field station, established to study climate change, biodiversity, carbon and water cycling in peatland ecosystems.
