08.08.2017 NVSU students received Erasmus + scholarship
Anastasia Turabova and Alina Shakirova, NVSU 3rdyear students of the Faculty of Humanities, have successfully passed the competitive selection procedure to study the course "Crossing Borders: Cultural Diversity in Early Years Education" at the University College of South Denmark- UCSYD from August to December 2017. In the context of cooperation between NVSU and UCSYD, the universities submitted a joint application for funding of academic mobility within the European Commission Erasmus + (Key action 1: Credit mobility). Following the competition, the University College of South Denmark received a quota for 2 Russian students to study at UCSYD with a financial support of European Commission program Erasmus+.

31.07.2017 Round table for Fulbright alumni was held in Tomsk
Jul 29, 2017 Siberian State Medical University (Tomsk) held a roundtable event for alumni of different Fulbright programs for Russian citizens. Yana Kraychinskaya, staff member of International Office at NVSU, participated in the round table as an alumna of Fulbright Graduate Student Program.

31.07.2017 Jean Monnet Activities selection results have been announced
European Commission continues to announce the results of application campaign within Erasmus+ program. One of the popular actions is Jean Monnet Activities. Jean Monnet program is aimed at stimulating teaching, research and reflection in the field of European integration studies at the level of higher education institutions within and outside the European Community.

25.07.2017 First results of exchange program with University of Barcelona within Erasmus+ Program
Danil Kharitonov, 3rd year student of the Department for Linguistics and Translation, Faculty of Humanities, has successfully completed his studies atUniversity of Barcelona (Spain) within Erasmus+ Program.

21.07.2017 NVSU representatives have taken part in EU Study Weeks
Victoria Lazareva, academic mobility coordinator of NVSU International office and Elena Fomenko, student of Faculty of Humanities took part in the summer seminar within European Union Study Weeks. The seminar was held on June 23-27, 2017 in Tyumen. This event targeted young people interested in the topic of Europe Russia relationships and European processes. High level of proficiency in English was a mandatory requirement for participation.

20.07.2017 New selection results of the Erasmus + Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals
Education Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency announced first results of 2017 selection round of the Erasmus+ Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals. Nizhnevartovsk State University received funding for implementing mobility activities of students, teachers and staff with University College of South Denmark (Denmark) and JAMK University of Applied Sciences (Finland).

19.07.2017 International Workshop on "The EU Spin-off Best Practices" within the UNISON Project (Erasmus+, KA2)
On July 4-7, Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra (Coimbra, Portugal) hosted a Workshop on "The EU spin-off best practices" within the project Erasmus+ project "UNISON University-enterprise cooperation via spin-off companies network". The workshop was designed to introduce project partners from Russia , China and Georgia to the EU perspectives on university spin-offs, promotion of technology transfer and R&D commercialization.

19.07.2017 NVSU Student won YEAR in the United States
Carolina Drobinina, 2nd year student of the Faculty of Humanities studying Linguistics took part and won The Year of Exhange in America for Russians program.

18.07.2017 Erasmus+ Students and Alumni Association meeting was held in NVSU
On June 9. 2017 the first working meeting of Erasmus+ Alumni Association of NVSU dedicated to the establishment of the Association. The meeting was attended by the International Office staff members and students who have taken part in university exchange programs and studied in partner universities and were funded by Erasmus+ program.

18.07.2017 NVSU student has returned from JAMK University of Applied Sciencess
Timur Novikov, 3rd year student of Faculty of Economics and Management, has successfully completed his studies at JAMK University of Applied Sciences in Jyväskylä. Timur spent spring semester from February to June 2017 there.

18.07.2017 NVSU students have returned from the University College South Denmark
3rd year NVSU students Olesya Gorbunova and Grogory Kovalkov, studying at the Faculty of Humanities, won the university competition to study at the University College of Southern Denmark - UCSYD in Aabenraa. They spent 5 months (February - June 2017) studying the college program of Crossing Borders: Cultural Diversity in Early Years Education.

14.06.2017 NVSU will take part in the project European Union Study Weeks
Elena Fomenko, student of Faculty of Humanities, and Victoria Lazareva, academic mobility coordinator of NVSU International office, received grants to participate in the summer seminar within European Union Study Weeks. The seminar is arranged on June 23-27, 2017 in Tyumen. The European schools are annual educational seminars which are held for active, creative, successful students and postgraduate students who speak English very well and are interested in international relations. The best Russian and European experts take part in the project of the European schools. They propose their own points of view regarding relations between Russia and Europe, integration processes in the European Union (EU), Russias perspectives in economy, international relations and education.

06.06.2017 Danish students share their impressions of studying at NVSU
Nizhnevartovsk State University and University College of South Denmark have exchanged students and faculty members for a number of years. Between 2014 and 2017, 10 NVSU students have studied at University College of South Denmark through academic mobility programmes: Denmark National Study Grant and Erasmus+ scholarships for mobility of individuals. In March 2016, NVSU welcomed first exchange students from UCSYD. In March 2017, NVSU welcomed Kim Hultgreen and Simone Duus, 2nd year UCSYD students, grantees of the Erasmus+ scholarship.

05.06.2017 Jean Monnet first year implementation results
On May 19th NVSU hosted a meeting of Jean Monnet Module coordinators. The Modules were approved for funding by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission in the 2nd call for applications within Jean Monnet Action in 2016. The main aim of the meeting was to review the results of the first year implementation of Jean Monnet Modules in NVSU.

10.05.2017 NVSU representative took part in the International staff week at the University of Barcelona
On April 24-28, 2017, Nadezhda Nemchinova, Head of International office, Higher Education Reform Expert within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, took part in the International staff week "Erasmus+ outside Europe (ICM)" organized by the University of Barcelona.

10.05.2017 Dissemination of JM Module Standardization in Product Quality Management: EU Experience and Cooperation Prospects
Within the VIII Eurasia Economic Youth Forum held in Yekaterinburg, April 19th, Oksana Kozlova, Professor of the Department for Commerce and Management, gave an open lecture dedicated to the EU Experience of Proprietary Standards. This year the Forum welcomed over 2 000 participants, 47 honorary guests and 299 experts.

First year of Jean Monnet Module Standardization in Product Quality Management: EU Experience and Cooperation Prospects is coming to its end. Students have already completed the course and submitted their final assignments. The course covered such topics as International Standards, National Standards of EU, EU directives and harmonization of standards, Quality control in Russia and EU.

12.04.2017 Department for Ecology held Research project competition within Jean Monnet Module
On the 4th of April, 2017 Department for Ecology held a research project competition among school pupils and university and college students of the region. The competition was held as a part of Jean Monnet Module Interaction of environment and human health: Experience of the European Union activities, 574826-EPP-1-2016-1-RU-EPPJMO-MODULE.
